Classes of Computers →
A friend of mine has an interesting post up about the physical space a computer occupies and how it predicts convergence.
Though that’s probably not how he would describe it:
So, that says, that my phone, my palm, my iPod (or walkman/discman if you go back) were all basically competing with each other. As a consequence, it would have been relatively easy to predict that these devices...
It would be nice if we could see our technology with the wonder it should inspire.
Katie West is a bizarrely artistic woman. I occasionally check out her photostream on flickr, and there’s something about this particular vid that’s captivating (and it’s not her bare butt towards the end).

The Washington Times, despite being my less-liked paper of the region, has done some fantastic work with django.

Absolutely. I’ve been thinking about that myself a lot of late.
In the middle of the night I woke up feeling a sort of pain in my neck and back. This is not particularly unusual, as I have back problems dating from an unscheduled meeting with a car a few years ago.
What was unusual was the way my brain processed that pain in my half-asleep/still-almost-dreaming state. I could feel the pain as words, written over the areas that hurt.
I’m very left...
