Classes of Computers →
A friend of mine has an interesting post up about the physical space a computer occupies and how it predicts convergence. Though that’s probably not how he would describe it: So, that says, that my phone, my palm, my iPod (or walkman/discman if you go back) were all basically competing with each other. As a consequence, it would have been relatively easy to predict that these devices...

Also: So, it’s nearly pointless to have scales of 5 stars, 10 stars, or 100 stars, when all you really need is: “Liked it, Didn’t Like It, and Neutral”. Absolutely. I’ve been thinking about that myself a lot of late.

In the middle of the night I woke up feeling a sort of pain in my neck and back. This is not particularly unusual, as I have back problems dating from an unscheduled meeting with a car a few years ago. What was unusual was the way my brain processed that pain in my half-asleep/still-almost-dreaming state. I could feel the pain as words, written over the areas that hurt. I’m very left...
